Nothing inside
that we cannot name

Ask most mattress makers what is inside and the answer is "foam". Ask us and you get a layer list, with weights. Below is every fill we build with — the same list our construction sheets use.

Sheep grazing on the steppe — the origin landscape of our natural fills

Six signature fills, all from nature

Black horsehair teased by hand into an even springy web
Active fill

Black horsehair

18–21 cm tail hair, washed and teased by hand until it forms an even, springy web. Works as a natural spring, holds air and moves moisture away from the sleeper. Used from 0.5 kg to 3 kg per bed; golden horsehair appears in the XP-025 build.

Wool fibres carded into soft loft layers
Comfort & climate

Australian wool

Wool loft layers and wool tufting balls (80% wool content) buffer temperature in both directions — warm in winter, dry in summer. Naturally fire-resistant and hypoallergenic.

Cashmere down collected during the natural moulting season
Softest warmth

Cashmere

Collected during the natural moulting season — softer, lighter and several times warmer than traditional wool. Blended into the comfort layers of the collection's softest builds.

Camel hair fibres with their natural golden sheen
Luxury warmth

Camel hair & camel down

Light, resilient and exceptionally temperature-stable. Sourced from sustainable partner ranches; used in the Golden Velvet and Imperial Court builds.

Organic cotton bolls open in the field
Structure & breathability

Pure cotton

Pure cotton pads (400 g) and woven ticking fabrics — the coffee, blue and green checks and the white and blue-white plains. Holds its shape over years of use without dumping or sagging.

Double-cocoon silk ready for hand processing
Quiet luxury

Dupion silk

Double-cocoon silk, hand-processed to retain its natural sheen and lightness. Appears in selected flagship constructions, layered between the fill for its smooth, temperature-regulating touch.

Documentation

Testing

Independent lab reports

Material and emission testing through independent third-party laboratories (SGS report set). Buyers receive the reports with every quotation.

Fire safety

Built per destination

Fire-performance construction is engineered for the destination market — UK BS 7177, US 16 CFR 1632/1633, or EN 597 for Europe — before the first bed is sewn.

Animal fibres

Quarantine-ready paperwork

Horsehair, wool, camel hair and silk are animal-derived. We supply the origin and processing documentation destination customs need — tell us the market early so the paperwork travels with the goods.
